How to Split Blu Ray Movies?

I have ripped a blu ray film (batman II) that is just too big (27ggb) to fit onto 1 blu-ray 25 ggb disc. Any idea how to split it onto 2 discs?

There are a couple of free tools, namely HDBDSplit and TsMuxer. You can also shrink (re-encode) to fit 25GB using BD Rebuilder but it’s going to be an overnight job (10+ hours) and as other shrinking program it will somehow lower the quality of the original. So, I would like to show you another way to split your blu ray video into pieces below by using the professional video converter app which includes video spliter for mac.

Step 1: Load Video Files

Run this Mac app, and go to “File -> Add Video File(s)” option to select files from your Mac computer. Or just simply drag and drop files to the main interface. After that, you’ll see the added video files have been showed in the pane of this program.

Step 2: Cut/Split Video into Clips

Highlight and select the video you want to split by a simple clicking, then click the “Edit” symbol icon to open the Edit window as follows. You will see there are five available options for you, click “Trimming” tab and set the beginning and ending time. You can repeat the operation to extract any segment of the video you want.

Step 3: When you finish the settings, click “Done” to save and return to the main interface. Immediately, these selected video clips will be listed in the pane of this app.
